Steak a la Pobre
Started three years ago, Karlyn's became famous because of their Steak a la pobre and Lengua (beef tongue). Unfortunately, lengua was already not available during our visit because it's already afternoon (2 o'clock) and a lot of customers ordered it during morning and lunch time. That is how popular their lengua is. We have no choice but to order another specialty, the steak a la pobre.
Surprisingly, steak a la pobre tastes very good! It made us forget that we came there for the lengua and not for the steak. The meat was so soft and absorbed juices flow into your tongue with every bite of the meat. We also tried other dish they serve. And frankly speaking, this is one of the best restaurants I have been to. You may find the picture not so attractive but I tell you, try them.
